A UN delegation is on mission to the DRC from 8 to 13 February to conduct a strategic assessment of the challenges and opportunities facing the DRC.
It is led by the Assistant Secretary-General for Africa, Martha Pobee. The evaluation will include political, security and governance issues.
The Under-Secretaries-General, Ms. Elizabeth Spehar, in charge of peace support and Mr. Alexander Zuev, in charge of the rule of law and security institutions are also part of the mission.
