The Boy is back: Bakame returns to Rayon Sports as new Goalkeepers Coach

Rayon Sports legend Eric Ndayishimye, famously known as Bakame, has made a triumphant return to the club, this time stepping into the role of Goalkeepers Coach. 

His reappointment marks a significant milestone for the club, as they continue to build on their rich history and aim for future success.

Ndayishimiye's journey with Rayon Sports began during the 2013-14 season, and he later rejoined the team in 2016 and 2017. 

Throughout his playing career at Rayon Sports, Bakame established himself as a formidable goalkeeper and a leader both on and off the pitch. 

His dedication and passion for the club earned him legendary status among fans and players alike.

As captain of Rayon Sports, he led the team to numerous triumphs. 

Under his leadership, the club secured the Peace Cup in 2016, a significant trophy that highlighted their dominance in Rwandan football. 

The following year, in 2017, Rayon Sports claimed the Rwanda Premier League title, further cementing their position as a top club in the country. 

Additionally, Bakame played a pivotal role in guiding Rayon Sports to the CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage in 2018, showcasing their strength on the continental stage.

Now returning to Rayon Sports as a goalkeeper coach, Bakame brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and tactical knowledge to the club’s coaching staff. 

His familiarity with the club's culture and his proven track record of success are expected to inspire and develop the next generation of goalkeepers.
