Yampano Video Leak: Djihad and Pazzo Man remanded in custody, Kjohn released

The Kicukiro Primary Court delivered its decision on Yampano intimate video Leak in a case involving Uzabakiriho Cyprien alias Djihad, Kalisa John alias Kjohn, Ishimwe François Xavier, Ishimwe Patrick alias Pazzo Man, and Kwizera Nestor alias Pappy Nesta.

The judge who was handling the case against these suspects—accused of spreading leak videos of Florien Uworizagwira “Yampano” allegedly going to see children—did not appear at the scheduled time for the hearing.

The courtroom was crowded, with all seats occupied. A court official then announced that the judge was not present and had instructed the court clerk to read out the ruling.

As a result, people moved closer to the clerk as he read the decision.

The decision ordered that Djihad, Pazzo Man, Ishimwe François Xavier, and Kwizera Nestor be detained for 30 days of provisional custody, citing sufficient grounds.

Meanwhile, Kalisa John alias Kjohn was released. The decision states that it takes immediate effect from the moment it is read.
