Ruhango: Mutsinzi Ange Launches Iwacu Football Academy to Boost Grassroots Football
Amavubi National Team and Zira FK (Azerbaijan) defender Mutsinzi Ange Jimmy has officially launched a football academy, Iwacu Football Academy, in Byimana, Ruhango District, the community where his football journey began.
The launch ceremony attracted key football stakeholders, including FERWAFA Commissioner for Technical Affairs and Football Development, Kanamugire Fidèle, alongside Mulisa Jimmy and other invited guests.
Iwacu Football Academy is established with the vision of nurturing young football talents, providing structured training, and creating opportunities for grassroots players to develop both on and off the pitch.
The initiative reflects Mutsinzi’s commitment to giving back to his roots and contributing meaningfully to the growth of Rwandan football.
The academy is expected to play a vital role in strengthening grassroots football in the region and supporting Rwanda’s long-term football development agenda.
