Meanwhile, Manchester City’s first league match since Pep Guardiola’s departure will be at home against Bournemouth as the club enters a new era.
Manchester United, who finished third last season, will travel to promoted Hull City for their opening fixture.

London derbies are set to provide early excitement, with Brentford hosting Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham welcoming Chelsea during the opening round.
Newly promoted Ipswich Town begin their campaign at home against Sunderland, while Nottingham Forest take on Leeds United.
The festive schedule promises plenty of entertainment, with the Premier League confirming a full programme of Boxing Day fixtures.
Among the headline matches are Crystal Palace versus Arsenal, Newcastle United against Manchester City, Manchester United hosting Nottingham Forest, and Hull City welcoming Liverpool. Clubs will be guaranteed at least 60 hours between festive fixtures as part of efforts to ease player workload following the expanded international calendar.
The Premier League has also warned supporters to expect fixture changes throughout the season, with nine clubs set to participate in UEFA competitions.
Scheduling adjustments may be necessary, particularly if English teams progress deep into European tournaments.
Attention is already turning to the final weekend of the season on May 30, 2027.
Arsenal will conclude their campaign at home to Brighton, Liverpool host Bournemouth, Manchester United welcome Fulham, while Manchester City travel to Sunderland.
The 2026-27 season begins a week later than usual to allow players additional recovery time following the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
