Rayon Sports WFC have once again confirmed their dominance in Rwandan women’s football after securing a narrow 1–0 victory over Muhazi WFC to clinch the 2024/2025 Rwanda Women’s First Division League title with 57 points.

The decisive win sealed a third consecutive league championship for the Blues, further strengthening their status as the most dominant side in the country’s women’s game in recent years.

With the victory, Rayon Sports Women successfully defend the crown they also won during the 2023/2024 season, completing an impressive run of back-to-back-to-back championships in Rwanda’s top tier women’s competition.

The triumph now earns the Kigali-based side the opportunity to represent Rwanda at the regional qualifiers for the CAF Women's Champions League through the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations zone in 2026.

Rayon Sports WFC’s continued success highlights the club’s growing influence and commitment to women’s football development in Rwanda.

Their consistent performances, strong squad depth, and winning mentality have helped them maintain a firm grip on the league title while setting the standard for other clubs in the competition.

As they celebrate another historic achievement, the Blues will now turn their attention to the regional stage, where they will aim to carry Rwanda’s hopes in the CECAFA qualifiers and compete for a place at Africa’s biggest women’s club football tournament.
