Manzi, Djihad win Libyan Cup with Al Ahli Tripoli
Rwandan duo Thierry Manzi and Djihad Bizimana, the captain of the Rwanda National Team, have added another major honor to their careers after lifting the Libyan Cup with Al Ahli Tripoli.
Both players featured in the final as Al Ahli Tripoli secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Al Ahli Benghazi to claim the prestigious trophy.

Manzi and Bizimana have established themselves as key players for Al Ahli Tripoli, with their experience and leadership proving vital to the team’s success.

Al Ahli Tripoli reached the final after defeating Al-Madina 2-0 in the semi-finals at Al-Zawiya Stadium.
Their opponents, Al Ahli Benghazi, booked their spot by edging past Al-Akhdar on penalties (5-4) after a 1-1 draw at Tobruk Stadium.
Although many expected a tense and closely contested final, Al Ahli Tripoli showcased their dominance and lived up to their reputation.
They secured the Libyan Cup for the eighth time in the club’s history with an impressive performance.
Second-half goals from Azzou Al-Merimi, Omran Salem, and Mabululu sealed the win after a goalless first half, confirming Al Ahli Tripoli as deserved champions.
