Kiyovu 0-2 Rayon Sports: Asman Ndikumana's brace signal Title ambitions for the Blues

Rayon Sports kicked off their 2025/26 Rwanda Premier League season in style with a 2-0 victory over arch-rivals Kiyovu over the weekend.

Following a strong 2024/25 campaign where they finished second, Rayon Sports have made a clear statement of intent for the new season.

The win was powered by an outstanding performance from forward Asman Ndikumana, who netted a brace to secure all three points for the Blues.

He opened the scoring in the 42nd minute and sealed the victory with his second in stoppage time (90+2).

It was a tense and competitive encounter, with both sides creating several chances.

However, it was Rayon Sports who displayed greater composure and clinical finishing in front of goal.

With the win, Rayon Sports currently sit second on the league table with 3 points and a +2 goal difference after the opening matchday.
