FERWAFA motivates U15 Boys and Girls before Kampala showdown
FERWAFA’s Commissioner in charge of Legal and Governance, Mme. Louise Ndengeyingoma, delivered an inspiring message to Rwanda’s U15 Boys and Girls national school teams today as they finalize their preparations for the 2026 CAF African Schools Championship CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers in Kampala, Uganda.
Meeting the young athletes before their departure, Mme. Ndengeyingoma emphasized the privilege and responsibilitythat comes with representing Rwanda on the continental stage.
She reminded them that beyond competing, they are ambassadors of the nation, carrying the hopes and pride of millions of Rwandans.
She urged the players to stay committed to their academics while nurturing their football dreams, stressing that true excellence is rooted in discipline, character, and purpose values that define the Rwandan sporting identity.
“You carry the flag in your heart and in your character. Stay focused. We stand behind you, fully and proudly,” Mme. Ndengeyingoma
The Commissioner also encouraged the teams to approach the tournament with confidence, teamwork, and respect for the game.
She highlighted FERWAFA’s continued support and belief in the potential of young athletes to shape the future of Rwandan football.
Both the Boys and Girls U15 teams are set to depart for Kampala today, December 4, where they will compete in the CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers from December 6–9, 2025.
The tournament serves as a major platform for young talents across East and Central Africa, offering them international exposure and an opportunity to advance to the continental finals.
