Rwanda: FIFA boosts YFD with equipment support for Isonga program
Rwanda’s efforts to nurture the next generation of football talent have received another significant boost after FIFA donated footballs to the Isonga Program, reinforcing the country's commitment to grassroots football development.
The donation will support young players participating in the Isonga Program by providing essential training equipment, ensuring more children have access to the game while improving the quality of football development activities across the country.
The latest support complements the FIFA Arena mini pitches that have already been established in different parts of Rwanda.
Together, the infrastructure and equipment are creating an environment where young footballers can regularly train, compete, and develop their technical abilities from an early age.
The initiative reflects FIFA’s continued investment in grassroots football and aligns with Rwanda's vision of strengthening youth development pathways.
By expanding access to quality facilities and equipment, the program aims to identify and nurture talented players who could represent Rwanda at higher levels in the future.
With more footballs now available for training and the growing network of FIFA Arena mini pitches, the Isonga Program is expected to play an even greater role in inspiring young players and fostering the continued growth of football across Rwanda.
