Rayon Sports, APR FC headline 2026-27 BK Pro league schedule

The 2026/27 BK Pro League season promises another thrilling campaign, with Rwanda's biggest clubs preparing for a 34-match battle that will run from September 2026 to May 2027.

The official fixture list has placed several high-profile encounters across the season, but none is likely to attract more attention than the two meetings between traditional rivals Rayon Sports and APR FC.

The first rivalry is scheduled for Saturday, 21 November 2026, when Rayon Sports host APR FC at Amahoro Stadium, with kick-off set for 17:00.

The fixture comes on Matchday 9 and could provide an early indication of the ambitions of both sides.

The return encounter is scheduled for Matchday 18, with APR FC hosting Rayon Sports at Amahoro Stadium.

The fixture is scheduled for 22-24 January 2027, although the exact date and kick-off time are currently marked as TBD in the official schedule.

The two clashes will be among the defining moments of the campaign.

The rivalry between APR FC and Rayon Sports is one of the biggest fixtures in Rwandan football, regularly attracting intense attention from supporters and producing high-pressure encounters.

Rayon Sports will also face several other important tests during the season.

Their campaign begins with a home meeting against Al Merrikh SC at Kigali Pelé Stadium, while they face Sunrise on Matchday 3 before travelling to Gorilla on Matchday 4.

APR FC, meanwhile, begin their league campaign against Musanze, although the date and kick-off time are yet to be confirmed.

The champions then face Bugesera away in their Matchday 2 fixture before meeting Marine at Kigali Pelé Stadium on Matchday 3.

Other notable fixtures include Rayon Sports against Al Hilal on 5 November, while APR FC face Al Hilal away on 11 October.

Rayon Sports will also meet Police FC on 20 December, while APR FC travel to Police FC on 28 November.

The season will conclude on 28-30 May 2027, when Rayon Sports host Marine and APR FC welcome Bugesera.
