Mukura part ways with Coach Tomáš Trucha

Rwandan top-flight side Mukura Victory Sports et Loisirs (Mukura VS&L) has announced the mutual termination of its agreement with head coach Tomáš Trucha, just days before he was due to officially begin his tenure with the club.

In an official statement, Mukura VS&L revealed that although both parties had finalized an agreement and Trucha had already arrived in Huye District to take charge of the team, the Czech coach accepted another professional opportunity before assuming his duties.

As a result, the club and the coach agreed to terminate the contract by mutual consent before the commencement of his appointment.

Mukura also confirmed that Trucha fulfilled all of his contractual obligations by settling the agreed amount with the club, bringing the matter to a close amicably.

Following the unexpected development, the club's management has begun the search for a new head coach to lead the team into the upcoming season.

Mukura VS&L said it will announce the appointment of a new manager in due course as preparations continue for the 2026-27 campaign.
