The Saudi Football Federation announced the contract with Ivorian Yaya Toure as the first assistant to the national team’s coach Roberto Mancini.
The contract with him came at the coach’s request to include him among his technical staff for the coming period.

The 40-year-old Yaya Toure has a coaching record that began four years ago, moving between three clubs as an assistant coach for the Ukrainian Donetsk Olympic Club, Russia’s Ahmed Grozny, and Belgium’s Standard Liege, and as a coach for the under-16 team at the English club Tottenham.
When Roberto asked if I would join him in Saudi Arabia for this important project, while it was difficult to step away from Standard Liege, I knew it was the right move for me.
I have always looked up to Roberto – so to work with him and learn from him is a perfect fit. https://t.co/3Gyzy9diET
