The Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF), takes exception upon the falsehoods being spread by Mr. Jules Mulumba that the UPDF is in Rutsuru! In an attempt to authenticate his desperate claims, he uses photos of our force that were part of East African Community Regional Force (EACRF).
The picture was taken when Uganda’s contingent to East African Community Regional Force (EACRF) was in Tsengero general areas on Bunagana – Rutshuru to Goma Axis and not sake.

Mulumba, who is actually a spokesperson for Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) aka Wazalendo, and they are trying to justify their losses to M23 with such allegations.
The UPDF has no reason to be involved in an Internal conflict, except when it is a regional peace effort.
