Rwanda Premier League: Amagaju grabs first league win by surprising Kiyovu Sports

A brace from Cyiza Seraphin in the first half secured an emphatic 2-0 victory for Amagaju over SC Kiyovu Sports in the Rwanda Premier League on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Amagaju started the 2024-25 Rwanda Premier League campaign slowly drawing their first three games, but was able to secure their first three crucial points in their fifth league game.

The win has now taken the burden off their shoulders ending a run of three draws and one loss since the start of the Rwanda Premier League campaign.

Cyiza Seraphin who was up to the task in the match emerged as the hero with a superb brace to deliver the first League win for coach Niyonngabo Amars
side  at the Kigali Pele Stadium.

With this win, Amagaju FC has moved to sixth place in the league log with 6 points from five games.

SC Kiyovu Sports, on the other hand, remains in 13th place in the league with 3 points from four games.
