Nyuma y’Imyaka 9 itazi uko kwegukana Igikombe cy’Amahoro bimera, Ikipe ya Polisi y’u Rwanda, Police FC, yegukanye Igikombe cy’Amahoro nyuma yo gutsinda Ikipe y’Akarere ka Bugesera, Bugesera FC, ibitego 2-1 mu mukino waraye ikiniwe kuri Sitade yitiriwe Pelé i Nyamirambo mu Mujyi wa Kigali.

Police FC yaherukaga iki gikombe mu 2015 itozwa n’Umutoza André Cassa Mbungo, yongeye kwisubiza ikuzo ibifashijwemo n’ibitego byatsinzwe na Aboubakar Djibrine Akuki ku munota wa 56 na Nsabimana Eric uzwi nka Zidane, ku munota wa 67 w’umukino.

Mu gihe igitego rukumbi cya Bugesera FC cyatsinzwe na Farouk Ssentongo Saif ku munota wa 80, Iminota 10 mbere y’uko umukino ugana ku musozo.

Nyuma yo kwegukana iki gikombe, Police FC yahise ikatisha itike yo kuzaserukira u Rwanda mu mikino ya CAF Confederation Cup, uruhando narwo yaherukagaho mu myaka 9 ishize.

Mu buryo butari bumenyerewe, Ikipe ya Police FC yari yakoze ku bafana bari bakubise Sitade bayuzuye, abenshi biganjemo abambaye Impuzankano za Polisi.

Mu gihe Ikipe ya Bugesera FC, nayo yari yakoze ku bafana batari bacye baje kuyishigikira.

Imodoka zikabakaba muri za Mirongo, zirimo abaturage bazwi nk’Abakeramurimo, Ikivugo cy’abaturage b’Akarere ka Bugesera, bari baje kuyitera ingabo mu bitugu.

Gusa, Bugesera FC iri mu makipe ashobora kujya mu kiciro cya kabiri, yo n’Umutoza wayo, Francis Haringingo, wari waregukanye Finale ebyiri zose yakinnye (2018 & 2023), ntabwo bahiriwe.

Umukino ugitangira, rutahizamu wa Bugesera FC, Elijah Ani ku mupira yari ahawe na Faustin Niyomukiza, yashatse gukora mu jisho Police FC, ariko aya mahirwe ntiyayabyaza umusaruro.
