Torsten Frank Spittler told sports journalists during a post-match conference that it was a big achievement for Rwanda and the players to play out to a draw against a formidable Nigerian team.

“I’m very happy not only because of the result but also the way we played. It was a good game, and we did our best and got the needed result,s, which I think was good,” Spittler said.

” The Nigerian attacking arm was better than ours because they are all world-class. We had few chances but could not make good use of them; they also have chances too and you could see the difference between our strikers and the Nigerian strikers, ” Spittler told reporters after the game.
