Lt Col Richard Karasira, the former President of Marine FC, is the new Chairman of APR FC replacing the Chief of Defense Staff, Lt Gen Mubarakh Muganga, who has been in the position for three years.
Uwayezu François Régis who was once the General Secretary of FERWAFA also was appointed as Vice Chairman of APR FC replacing Brig Gen Bayingana Firmin.
Uwayezu was given these responsibilities two years after he resigned from the position of General Secretary of FERWAFA in September 2021.
Was appointed the Secretary of FERWAFA in 2018 replacing Habineza Emmanuel who was an interim.
Régis Uwayezu, 40 years old, come out from this position in 2021 after which he has been working in various other institutions including being the director of finance and administration at the Rwanda Language and Culture Assembly (RALC) for years seven.
Since 2017, Uwayezu was also a member of the Sports Commission for all in the Olympic Committee and the Vice President of the Rwanda Coaches Association.
He also holds a UEFA Licence B coaching qualification from Koblenz, Germany in 2010.
The APR FC team is expected to make a lot of changes which will officially announce the officials next week while there are also expected changes in the players where it is expected that the policy of playing only Rwandan players will be changed and strong foreigners will be brought in who will help the National Defense Team to perform better in the various CAF Competitions.
