Paris Saint Germain have left star striker Kylian Mbappe out of their pre-season squad, signalling the French forward could finally be heading out the door this summer.
Paris Saint Germain have omitted star striker Kylian Mbappe from their pre-season squad, signalling he could be set to leave the French capital this summer.
Speculation has been rife about the talismanic Frenchman’s future for the last few seasons, with a mooted move to Real Madrid seemingly always in the offing.
Last summer, it seemed as though the Spanish giants were going to land Mbappe, only for him to opt to sign a new deal with PSG through till 2024.
However, in their latest pre-season squad ahead of their tour of Japan, Mbappe has been omitted by Luis Enrique. The Frenchman will not play a part in their pre-season, signalling the striker is now for sale.
Just minutes after they announced their 29-man squad that will head to Tokyo this weekend, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted out the Parisians are now open to selling Mbappe.
Romano tweeted: “Understand PSG consider Mbappé FOR SALE starting from today. Paris Saint-Germain feel Kylian Mbappé wants to leave for free in 2024 — he did not communicate anything yet despite Al Khelaifi’s public statement. PSG decided to EXCLUDE Kylian from Japan tournée.”
