The Rwanda Volleyball Federation (FRVB) has ended a five-day Level II coaching course in Kigali, Rwanda.
The course brought together thirty-three coaches from diverse groups, including thirty Rwandans, two Kenyans and one Cameroonian.
The course ran from September 19-23, placing emphasis on both practical and theoretical knowledge. Theoretical lectures were done at a local hotel in Kigali, while participants were taken to the National Paralympic Indoor Gymnasium in Remera for practical demonstration.
Speaking at the close of the course, FRVB President Raphael Ngarambe said some coaches need more training at top, grassroots and national levels.
He said FRVB will give coaches the minimum required skills that will help improve their level of coaching, which will in turn would improve the technical ability of players.
The course was facilitated by international instructor Johann Huber from Austria and assisted by Coach Dominique Ntawangundi of Rwanda.
