Ten’s man Gasogi United suffers first League defeat after being held by Rayon Sports

Gasogi United suffered their first league defeat of the season after losing 1-0 to Rayon Sports over the weekend in the Rwandan Premier League at the Amahoro Stadium.

The club started the season on a fine note with a three-game unbeaten run but was put to an end as they were beaten in their fourth game of the 2024-25 league season.

Gasogi United went into the game with two wins and one draw from three matches in the Rwandan Premier League 2024-25 campaign.

The match which started on a bright note saw both teams playing out to a goalless draw after the first 45 minutes of play.

However, it was Charles Bbaale’s lone goal in the 54th minute that proved the difference between both sides in the match.

The win was the first for Rayon Sports in three league matches.

They have 5 points from 3 games, while Gasogi United has 7 points from four league games played so far.
