The Prime Minister of Rwanda Dr. Edouard Ngirente received in his office the Prime Minister of Uganda Mrs. Robinah Nabbanja to discuss the development of trade between the two countries.

The leaders also discussed the implementation of joint projects between the two countries, including the railway and power projects.

Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Prof. Nshuti Manasseh says that Uganda has a lot of electricity and it is cheap, so removing it from this country will reduce its price in Rwanda.

Prof. Nshuti Manasseh also says that the talks to build a railway from Uganda to Rwanda have come a long way and emphasizes that the business between the two countries is going well as a result of the good relations between the two countries.

The Prime Minister of Uganda, Robinah Nabbanja, is in Rwanda as one of the dignitaries who participated in the Women Deliver conference 2023, which studies the role of women in the development that is taking place in Rwanda.
