Rwanda Premier League: Police FC trashed Kiyovu Sports at Pelé Stadium

Rwanda Police FC recorded a comfortable 4-0 win over Kiyovu in a Rwanda Premier League match played on Thursday at the Kigali Pele Stadium.

Christian Ishimwe got the opener for Police FC in the 14th minute before Bigirimana Abedi increased the tally to make it two ending the first half 2-0.

Rwanda Police FC returned to the second half with great determination and teamwork as they scored additional two goals to end the match with a 4-0 scoreline.

Didier Mugisha and Elijah Ani scored the third and fourth goals in the 59th and 85th minutes respectively to give Police FC their biggest win of the season so far.

The win was Police FC’s first in their last five meeting with Kiyovu and their third in the 2024-2025 Rwanda Premier League campaign.

Police FC currently sits atop the league log with 10 points from 4 matches, while Kiyovu FC sits at 13 places on the log with 3 points from three matches.
