Rwanda Premier League: Gorilla FC continue their positive start by beating Mukura VS&L

Gorilla FC have moved atop of the Rwanda Premier League table after a convincing 3-1 win over Mukura on Friday at Kigali Pele Stadium.

The club continued their positive start in the ongoing league winning their third game of the season in week 5.

Goals from Alex Karenzo, Ntwali Evode, and Mohamed Camara helped Gorilla secure all three points in the match.

Both Gorilla FC and Mukura went into Friday’s encounter with seven points each, but following Gorilla’s impressive performance on the pitch, they were able to win the match and increase their tally to 10.

Gorilla have registered three victories one draw and one loss so far this season from their five league games played so far.

With the win, the club is two points clear atop the table ahead of second-place Gasogi United which has 8 points from five games.

As for Mukura, the defeat was their second of the season from five games. They sit six places on the log with 7 points.
