Agile forward Joachim Ojera has completed a move from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club to Rwandan side Rayon Sports.
Ojera leaves the tax collectors after giving them a diligent service of four and half years.
However, he will not be in a position to recall his last season at the gallant club to how he fazed out of the picture of the starting team.
Reports indicate that his lack of playing time has been greatly attributed to falling out with URA’s head coach Sam Timbe over unconfirmed reasons.
But the move gives him a chance to rebirth his career and bounce back in contention for a slot on the national side that is getting a new image.
At Rayon Sport, he will be playing alongside countrymate Musa Esenu who also earlier crossed from BUL FC to join the Kigali-based side.
Ojera has a chance to make an instant debut since his side will be locking horns with eighth-placed Mukura Victory Sports on Saturday, January 28.
Rayon Sport sits second on the log with 31 points garnered from 16 games played.[ Thesportspearl]
