Arsenal are close to finalising new contracts with key duo Martin Odegaard and Ben White, sources have confirmed to 90min.
The Gunners have made conscious efforts to tie down their best players over the last couple of years, with star wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli notably putting pen to paper on fresh terms at the Emirates Stadium in the last few months.
Centre-back William Saliba also signed a new four-year deal over the summer, and Arsenal are set to be boosted with the long-term commitment of two further players.
90min understands club captain Odegaard and versatile defender White aren’t far away from signing lucrative extensions of their own.
Odegaard’s current contract runs until 2025 with the option for a further year, while White’s is up in 2026.
Odegaard was asked about contract negotiations while away with the Norway national team this week, though did not give much away.
“I don’t have much to say, apart from the fact that I am very happy at Arsenal and I hope I can be there for a long time. Beyond that, I have no comment right now. Now, it is the national team that is in focus,” he said.
In addition to Odegaard and White, sources have told 90min Arsenal’s other priority is to agree terms with Oleksandr Zinchenko over a new contract.
The Ukraine international became an instant hit with Arsenal fans after joining from Manchester City last summer, impressing in an inverted left-back role. He is currently tied to the Gunners to 2026.
