Paris Olympic Games: How the Countries won Medals in Volleyball and Beach Volleyball

The men’s volleyball gold medal match at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 was one of the hottest tickets of the games, and the energy was amplified by a dazzling array of distinguished guests who came to witness France defend their Olympic crown.

It is time to wave farewell to the iconic Eiffel Tower Stadium, as the men’s medal matches wrapped up two weeks of world-class beach volleyball on the sand at the most magical sports venue on Earth.

David Ahman & Jonatan Hellvig are the Paris 2024 Olympic champions in men’s beach volleyball. At their rookie Olympic appearance, the two 22-year-old Swedes conquered the Olympic gold following an emphatic win over Germany’s Nils Ehlers & Clemens Wickler in Saturday’s final showdown.

France’s reign in Olympic men’s volleyball is set to continue for at least another four years after the Europeans triumphed in the Paris 2024 Games, successfully defending the title they won three years ago in Tokyo and sending a packed South Paris Arena 1 into an absolute frenzy on Saturday.

Brazil responded in a strong way to their only loss in the women’s volleyball tournament of the Paris 2024 Games, against the United States in the semifinals, and earned the right to step on the podium at the South Paris Arena 1 on Sunday’s medal ceremony with their third-place finish.

France’s victory in the men’s volleyball tournament of the Paris 2024 Olympics wasn’t the only repeat from the Tokyo Games, three years ago, as just like was the case in the Japanese capital, star outside hitter Earvin Ngapeth was named as the Most Valuable Player of the event.

Anders Mol & Christian Sorum showed their high class in Saturday’s third place match at the men’s Olympic beach volleyball tournament and claimed their second Olympic medal.

After the Tokyo 2020 gold, the Norwegian Beachvolley Vikings snatched the bronze at Paris 2024. They bounced back from their semifinal loss to Nils Ehlers & Clemens Wickler with a straight-set win over Tokyo bronze medallists Cherif Younousse & Ahmed Tijan of Qatar.
