Rwanda Minister of Sports Richard Nyirishema and the permanent secretary Mukazayire Nelly on Friday, October October 4, 2024, paid a courtesy visit at the Rwanda Football Federation office in Remera next to Amahoro stadium.
The visit was fruitful as the Honorable Minister of Rwanda_Sports Richard Nyirishema and Permanent Secretary Nelly Mukazayire held a talk with the FERWAFA Executive Committee members on the existing programs to promote football among young people which could be of help to the country.
Minister Nyirishema thanked the administration for the visible actions being carried out and the various competitions organized, requesting that efforts be made in youth competitions and recruiting talents in the field of football wherever they are.
Mr. Nyirishema was appointed as Rwanda’s Sports Minister of Sports in August of this year replacing Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju, who held the position since November 2019.
He is also a member of the FIBA Zone V Board, where he coordinates regional Basketball events.
