Liverpool have confirmed three Women’s Super League fixtures will be played at Anfield in the 2024/25 season.
The Reds confirmed a stadium move following the end of the previous campaign back in may.
Matt Beard’s side will move from Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park, which has been their home since 2018, and are now to play the majority of their home games at the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens.
But, Liverpool have now confirmed three fixtures will be played at Anfield. This is an increase on the one match played last season – the Merseyside derby against Everton attracted 23,000 supporters.
In 2024/25, Liverpool’s league games against Manchester City (13 October), Manchester United (16 March) and Everton (4 May) will be played at Anfield.
The club have also announced a ‘hat-trick package’, which means supporters can purchase one ticket and gain access to all three games.
Susan Black, Liverpool’s director of communications and executive director, said: “We’re thrilled to be hosting more WSL games next season at Anfield.
Next season will be yet another exciting chapter for our women’s first team with a new home stadium alongside more games at Anfield.
“It’s great news for the players and for the fans, with both stadiums offering great matchday facilities. This announcement is another positive step forward on our journey.”
Beard’s side will be hoping to improve on their fourth placed finish in the WSL last term. They pipped Manchester United to a top four spot in 2023/24, but will now be targeting European qualification.
