Jojea Kwizera provides Fifth League assist for Rhode Island FC

Rwandan midfielder Jojea Kwizera provided his fifth league assist of the season in his side Rhode Island’s 2-1 win over Tulsa in the United Soccer League Championship on Saturday.

Kwizera showed a superb performance in the match as he assisted for Noah Fuson who leveled the score for Rhode Island in the 69th minute after Tulsa took an early minute league through Aaron Bibout of Cameroon.

The midfielder excelled in midfield and helped his team collect all three points at the Beirne Stadium in a USL week 30 fixture.

Kwizera who joined the club from CF Montéal in January of this year has been outstanding for the club.

He played the entire 90th minute of the match earning a 7.8 rating by flash score, which makes him the best-performing player during the match.

The 25-year-old has featured in 24 games this season for Rhode Island, scoring two goals and providing 5 assists to his credit.

Before joining Rhode Island Kwizera played two seasons with Montréal where he clocked 407 minutes from 12 appearances for the club.
