Etincelles FC continue their winning run in the Rwanda Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 win at home over Mukura VS on Saturday.
The hosts secured all three points, making it two victories from two games in the league’s second phase.
Etincelles FC scored two goals in the second half of the tense game following a difficult first half that ended goalless.
Both teams had opportunities throughout the first half, which ended without a goal but, Etincelles FC took advantage of them in the second half.
As a result of their perseverance, they broke the impasse early in the second period and took control of the match at the Umuganda Stadium.
The win moves Etincelles FC to 10th place on the Rwanda Premier League log with 20 points from 17 league matches, while Mukura VS sits in 6th place on the log with 24 points from 17 league games.
