The Rwandan Football National Team U-20 played out to a two-all draw with Rwandan Second Division’s side Intare FC on Thursday in a friendly encounter.
The match was part of Rwanda U20 preparation for the upcoming 2024 CECAFA U20 Cup which kicked off next month in Tanzania.
Rwanda U20 is in Group A of the CECAFA U-20 Cup with hosts Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, and Djibouti.
The Mavubi junior team will kick off their CECAFA on October 8th against Sudan, and will later face Kenya on October 10th and host Tanzania on October 13th and Djibouti on October 15th.
The tournament will feature nine countries and will kick off next month in Tanzania in Dar es Salaam, from October 6 to October 20.
