The club’s narrow win on Sunday helped them close the gap on Rayon Sports, who hold the first spot in the standings with 40 points from 17 games.
APR is second on the table with 37 points three points behind Rayon Sports, a tight race for the championship this season that is yet to be known.
The victory was important for APR sending a strong message to their opponents that they are committed and determined to claim the title.
APR has established itself as Rayon Sports’ nearest challengers and looks determined to succeed.
