Rwandan youngster Collins Kagame made his debut in Hyde United’s 3-1 defeat to Hebburn Tow in the Northern Premier League – Premier Division at the Project Solar Stadium.
Kagame came on as a second-half substitute, stepping onto the field in the 77th minute to replace Connor Heath.
The offensive midfielder didn’t do much in the match despite being given a few minutes in his first game for his new employer.
The 18-year-old joined Hyde United recently as a free agent after ending his stint at Oldham Athletic U18.
Before his move to Hyde United, Collins Kagame netted 9 goals for Oldham U18 last season where he impressed at the club before being snapped up by the Tigers after impressing on trial.
Kagame was born in England to Rwandan parents and can represent either England or Rwanda.
The teenager started his football development in England in the Youth Alliance League for the Latics U18 before moving on to Oldham and then Hyde United.
